A short, plain-English version of how we handle your information. The longer version is below.

Last updated 2026-04-29

Maun Aroma (“we”, “us”) is a small Indian perfume house. This page describes the personal information we collect when you visit our site or place an order, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and the items you bought. We also receive a payment confirmation from Razorpay (we never see or store your card details).

When you contact us through the form on this site, we collect your name, email, and the message you sent.

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.

What we use it for

  • To process and ship your order.
  • To send you order confirmations and shipping updates, by email and SMS.
  • To answer messages you send us.
  • To occasionally email you about new releases, only if you’ve subscribed.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone other than the services we use to fulfil your order — Razorpay (payments), our shipping partner, Resend (email delivery), and Supabase (database).

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required by Indian law (typically seven years for tax records). Contact-form messages are kept until we’ve answered them, then archived for one year.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to send you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). Write to us at hi@maunaroma.com.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to remember your cart between visits. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and email anyone with an active order at the time.
